Father's day

*(Note) Someone warned me not to let all the missed bloggortunities paralyze me and stop the blog in its tracks. I get it. So, without further ado - the present.

A couple of weeks ago Molly went to her first club, a place up on Capitol Hill called Neumos. The last time I was at this particular venue Molly was just a twinkle in God's eye, and it was to see The Mountain Goats.

What I'm saying is; this was not Gymboree folks.

It was a Father's Day Dance party hosted by our local independent radio station, KEXP. There was music, break dancing lessons, arts and crafts and as you can see, a crown making station. Molly had a great time and when she saw this picture she shrieked "Moh-wa dance party!"

The event was held smack dab in the middle of naptime, so we cut out a little early to head down to the in-laws for more Father's Day celebrating.

This photo was taken by one of the KEXP photographers at the event.
